Who we are

What we collect

The enquiry form is the only place this website asks for personal data. It collects your name, email address, the product you are interested in and your message, all of which are required, together with your telephone number and company name if you choose to give them.

We use those details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and to carry on the conversation that follows. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has approached us about our products. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with anyone else.

Where it goes and how long we keep it

Your enquiry is sent to us as an email. It is not saved to a database on this website, so the only copy is the one in our mailbox, held by our email provider on our behalf. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with the enquiry and any work that comes of it, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. After that it is deleted.

Cookies

This website sets only the strictly necessary cookies required for it to function: a session cookie and a security token that protects the enquiry form against forgery. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing on these pages is loaded from a third-party tracker, which is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner.

If you switch the site to dark mode, your browser remembers that choice so the next page opens the same way. It is stored on your own device, never sent to us, contains nothing that identifies you, and is only saved when you use the switch. Switching back to light mode, or clearing your browser's site data, resets it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, and to object to or ask us to restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@jadenglass.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
